How It Works: The Basics of the Balls System
At DragonsLord, we've developed a scoring system designed to capture the thrill and excitement of real-world tennis matches. Points are awarded based on your players' performance in live tournaments, meaning every action – from aces to set victories – can help you climb the leaderboard and earn incredible rewards.
Earn Points for Every Winning Moment
Match Win
A match victory is the ultimate reward. Each time one of your players wins a match, you'll earn 20 points. Choose wisely, as picking the right match-winner can make all the difference.
Set Win
Every time your player wins a set, you'll score 10 points. A crucial part of the match, this is your opportunity to rack up points with every hard-fought victory.
Aces
Aces are one of the most thrilling aspects of tennis. For each ace your player serves, you earn 2 points. Keep an eye on players with strong serving games!
Break Points Won
Break points can turn a match on its head. For each successful break point conversion, you'll score 5 points. Watch for players who can pressure their opponents.
Games Won
Every game your player wins earns you 3 points. The more games won, the higher your fantasy score.
Tiebreaker Win
Tiebreakers are the ultimate test of nerves, and when your player wins one, you score an additional 8 points. A key moment in any match, it's the time to shine!
Deduct Points for Mistakes
Double Faults
A double fault can cost a player dearly – and in the Balls System, it costs you too. Every double fault your player commits results in a 2-point penalty.
Set Lost
Losing a set can be a blow to your player's momentum, and it's reflected in your score with a 5-point deduction.
Games Lost
Every game your player loses brings a penalty. Stay on top of the match flow to ensure your players stay competitive.
Retirement/Withdrawal
If your player retires from a match due to injury or other issues, you'll lose 15 points. Keep an eye on player fitness to avoid setbacks!
Red Card
A red card for misconduct can cost your player, and in fantasy, it costs you too. A 10-point penalty applies if your player receives a red card.
